Finding connections with God - Father Son and Holy Spirit
It has always been a great encouragement whenever someone has left a gift in his or her will to our church in the past. It’s their testimony to the faithfulness, goodness and generosity of God.
I want to encourage every adult in our church family to make a will, and consider the difference this gift could make. Be part of helping us realise our vision for the future ‘to see an every-increasing number of people come to an ever deepening relationship with God and overflow with his blessing to our community and beyond.
Revd Patrick Bateman (Vicar)
Your Parish, Your Gift
We are stewards of everything we own. A gift in your will, is an expression of thanksgiving towards God. It would also be a valuable and lasting way to invigorate the life or our church and transform its future. We feel the responsibility to invest in both people and resources so that All Saints Ilkley can become and enduring blessing to our children’s children’s children and to our much loved town, for many generations to come.
Our Legacy Policy
The policy of the Parochial Church Council is to use gifts in wills to help fund significant development project in the parish. Since our needs change over the years, we encourage church members to leave a gift in your will for the general purposes of the parish rather than a restricted purpose. The PCC will discuss with executors the most appropriate use of the gift in the light of current projects and the donor’s known areas of interest in the church.
Three Simple Steps
We encourage every adult church member to…
1. Make a will and review it regularly.
2. Consider leaving a gift to our parish.
3. Request a free information pack.
To request a free information pack please visit churchlegacy.org.uk or contact David Runton or Frank Milward (who have experience in these matters) directly by email firstname.lastname@example.org. However large or small, we will use your gift to make a real difference to our church.
