A week crammed with fun activities, fantastic foods, a place to meet new friends AND an open relaxed opportunity to learn about Jesus. The camp is for those aged 13-18 but it is worth noting the camp accept applications from 12-year-olds who will be in Year 8 in the autumn.
Working collaboratively with other youth leaders we believe we have a better chance of helping young people thrive here in Ilkley. So with other groups, we have run social trips, worship events, mission initiatives, money courses, club nights and parties. We also contribute to a monthly youth leaders gathering in Ilkley, to support one another, share stories and dream up new ideas.
In addition, we work closely with Missional Generation to help find the best ways to connect with all the awesome young people we meet in ways that make sense to them. We have enjoyed helping them develop new youth resources to use at ASI and other churches.
